The countdown begins! 10 hours until our departure to the Minneapolis airport on route to Honduras! 9 geographers from UWEC will be headed down to Cayos Cochinos, and island off the North East Coast of Honduras. We will be mapping the island and capturing an endemic endangered species of Boa Constrictor. We will live for 10 days at the National Science Foundation research station that is located on the island. Stay tuned for photos and posts to come soon!
