HOnDuRaS!

We've made it! At least to San Pedro Sula.... After being up for more than 48 hours and catching various planes and busses, we have made it to our hotel in the city. Stepping off the last plane, it was about 80 degrees and 99% humidity- at 9 o'clock at night! I can't imagine what tomorrow during the day is going to be like! We shortly realized that having someone who speaks Spanish would have been very helpful. We quickly unpacked in our rooms and headed down to the pool. Surrounded by palm trees and other crazy looking vegetation, we swam around and soon realized how odd the moon looked at his point on the earthy- it was literally directly above us! This morning (Saturday) we are catching a bus to La Ceiba where we will wait another day before our sketchy little tugboat can take us to the island where we will begin our research!
