Our New (Used) VW!

After a few years of living car free and convincing ourselves that just about anything could be done via bike, bus, or train year round (which it can) -- we caved in and bought a car. It was actually my Christmas present from the 'Christkind'- the baby jesus whom in Austria brings the gifts in place of Santa.  We shopped around for a used car that met our needs and found our slate grey, Volkswagen Polo Family Edition with little milage and in great condition. It will definitely make traveling with baby and dog much easier.  I do hold an Austrian driving license- however, now begins my journey of learning to drive a manual!  So far it's gone ok although starting from a steep uphill is still a bit of a challenge.  Why people here don't drive automatic sure beats me!
