Some of you know that we have been combing craigslist, perusing the classifieds, and intensely scouring the web for an ultra-lightweight fiberglass camper. When we began our search, we didn't realize how few campers are out there and just how many people are looking for them! After a disappointing trip to the twin cities to checkout a disastrous 1983 Scamp, we weren't too hopefully in finding anything nearby and within our price range. But be it our luck, a few hours after returning home we came across a brand new posting for another little Scamp for sale near Eau Claire. We called immediately and were very excited to hear that we were the first in line to come see the camper in person. On Wednesday we made the trek over, and were quite surprised at the pristine condition of this 1999 Scamp. It's previous owner had taken excellent care of it and for being 16 years old, this little beauty nearly looks like she just rolled off of the factory floor! We were sold and after an easy tow back home we can happily say that we are the proud owners of this glorious little nugget!
