Happy Holidays

Just before Christmas, Jennifer and Ben (the American couple whom we had visited earlier in Salzburg) came to stay with us for about a week.  They arrived in Vienna and we did a few of the 'touristy' things before we finally made our way home to Wr. Neustadt for a few days of relaxing, eating, and celebrating.  Johannes had put together a small birthday party for me that evening and friends gathered at our place for drinks and games. The next few days were filled with lots of food, drinks, and good conversations! On Christmas eve we opened gifts from the "Christkind"according to the Austrian tradition, and in the morning the highly anticipated gifts from Santa that had arrived in a very much appreciated package from Wisconsin :)  The following day, Jen and Ben headed back to Salzburg and we made our way to Hartberg to celebrate another Christmas with Johannes' family.
