Here are a few pics from my first Austrian wedding...quite similar to a US wedding in some regards, definitely different in others. We started out with the civil ceremony- all of the guests gathered at the gorgeous building in the middle of the lake, watched the civil ceremony, enjoyed some drinks and snacks, travelled in caravan to the church, had the beautiful church ceremony, and then in caravan fashion to the reception at the gasthaus for drinks, dancing, and dinner with a fabulous bunch of people!
