As the high tour season wraps up for me, the apartment is coming together, and we are finally starting to settle in, we have begun another project...a search for the perfect addition to our family...a new dog! I have been looking forward to getting a dog since leaving high school, and since obviously college life isn't too apt for a hound, its finally time :) After many hours of research, talking with dog-owners, breeders, etc...we've begun to look at at small version of a greyhound dog called "Whippet". They are very fast runners yes, but one of the most well-suited apartment dogs. No, they don't run around like crazy all day, in fact, they are one of the laziest and chill breeds of dog that exists. They don't bark, don't shed hair, don't ever get a "dog smell", and sleep most of the day while still being able to go on long runs, run along side the bikes, etc.
In the search for our perfect puppy, we are visiting breeders. This weekend was our recent visit to upper austria where we visited a breeder, met the mom and grandma of the puppies, and go to see all 8 of the little cuties. Take a look :)
